Examination Overview


We submitted our Draft Local Plan to the Planning Inspectorate for examination on Friday 25 November 2022. On Friday 16 December 2022 the Planning Inspectorate appointed Jameson Bridgwater PGDipTP MRTPI to hold an independent examination of the Spelthorne Local Plan. The Inspector will be in touch with the Council soon through the Programme Officer to confirm arrangements for the examination. As soon as details are available they will be published here.

Programme Officer

The Programme Officer is responsible for the day to day administration of the examination before, during and after the hearing sessions; their role is to provide administrative support to the examination and provide the channel of communication between the Inspector, the LPA and the other participants in the examination outside of the hearing sessions.
